TINA/Spice/LM5145: Output is dropping down to zero when connecting a resistor at the output in TINA-TI

Hello,

I am trying to simulate LM5145-EVM in TINA-TI. I have imported Mosfets and diode as mentioned in BOM.

Simulation works fine for no load but when I connect a resistor across the output, output current and voltage are dropping down to zero after a ms or so.

I am attaching screenshots for both condition.

Would appreciate your help.

Hi Nayana,

I am unable to replicate your issue. Please find simulation results below for 1A load current.

Please make sure you use the latest version of TINA-TI(9.3.200.277 SF-TI).

Hi Nayana,

I checked your schematic for 20A current as well and it was running fine after making changes in analysis parameter.

PFA updated test bench.

Also, Sim export is available for this device and you can directly export design for TINA-TI.

PFA sim exported TSC file and it works as expected as well.

Hello,

The circuit is working fine.But when I connected an ammeter to measure the current through the output resistance the same result is coming, as I have mentioned earlier. It gives output current for 1A but I want to check it upto 20A of current.

Hi Nayana,

We tested the model with 20A load current after adding an ammeter and it works well. PFA simulation results and latest TSC file.

Please make sure you use the latest version of TINA-TI(9.3.200.277 SF-TI). Let us know if you still face any issues.
