WEBENCH® Tools/TPS61046: I cannot simulate this part with adjusting output current and other specs on Webench

Hi team,

I'm trying to simulate this part on Webench with the following parameters-

2.5-3V in, 22V out, 100 mAload max.

But when I simulate it I get an error that the device doesn't work with the inputs I selected. It appears I am will within the operating conditions for this device, can you advise why I am unable to simulate this application on Webench?

Hi Lauren,

This is failing due to temperature violation. Although, the error message is not getting displayed correctly. We're working on this.

Hi Vishwanath,

Thanks for your reply. I did not make any adjustments to the temperature settings so I'm not sure why it was too high. What temperature should I adjust it to?

Hi Lauren,

This seems to be a bug. as temperature calculated is beyond a normal range. We're still looking into it. currently you won't be able to create deigns at any temperatures. We will inform you as soon as it is fixed.

Hi Lauren,

Since the bug seems to be part of efficiency model, We may have to re-validate efficiency model with respect to bench data. This may take a couple of weeks.

Hi Lauren,

the output current is too large that the device can't support. the input current could be higher than 1A in this application condition.
