Part Number: TIDA-060025
I am working on TIDA-060025 Ref Design. I am having trouble with upgrading firmware (attached below) that engineer from TI gave me to MSPF5529 EVM.
I tried to install both Windows 7 32bit and 64bit to upgrade the firmware (following the advice from TI engineer), but none of them work.
I used MSP430 USB Firmware Upgrade Example v1.1.4 software supplied from TI to upgrade the firmware. When never I tried to upgrade the given TIDA-060025 firmware, that software stopped working (Photo below).
I tried with other available firmwares for TDC7200 and TDC7201 EVM, they can be successfully upgraded onto MSP430F5529 EVM (this board goes along with TDC board to support communication from User Interface to TDC board: configure operation mode of TDC, receive data from TDC,...)
Can anyone help me with this? I am really in hurry.
Thank you very much
Have you tried loading the firmware with a different flash programmer such as Elprotronic Flash Pro 430? That should work for the .txt file.

Have you tried the USB python upgrader that comes with either MSP430Ware or in the MSP430 USB Developers package?
I took the firmware you posted and used the python upgrader to re-flash my 5529 Launchpad with no errors.

Thank you very much. It works now
Have a nice day!
