How to disable SensorTag Auto-Sleep Mode (Prevent it not to power-off in a period of time)

You can use the osal_pwrmgr_device function from the application to allow and disallow power saving. Example;

• osal_pwrmgr_device( PWRMGR_ALWAYS_ON ); // To keep device on
• osal_pwrmgr_device( PWRMGR_BATTERY ); // Revert to battery mode

Hi Sascha,

You have to modify the embedded sensor tag code, but you can implement a characteristic that essentially which this functionality on and off. There is no way of achieving the functionality from iOS side only.

did you think to make an android solution ? the android software from TI i terrible and stupid (and don not work well) especially new release.

also i thnk maybe more simple buy and use a 50$ android tablet than a 500$ ipad....

I want to disable Auto sleep mode of SensorTag 2.0. I went through your post to change the firmware for sensor tag using iOS app. It mentions that it will work only work for SensorTag and not SensorTag 2.0 .Do you have any such solutions for the sensortag 2.0 ?

I also need to disable the sleep mode of the sensor tag.  You mentioned that to use the osal_pwrmgr_device function can do that.

But I donot know where is it.  I use the CCS to modify the firmware of sensor tag.

Could you tell me where to modify the code by using CCS?
