LAUNCHXL-CC2650: How can I enable multiple adc pins and take converted data in parallel

I want to take data from multiple sensors through adc on contiki running on launchxl-cc2650. How can I enable multiple pins as adc and take their data in parallel as there is only one fifo to read? Kindly provide any link if you have.

The ADC is designed as single channel, the same goes for the ADC driver. Hence you can't sample more than one pin at a given time. If you want to read from more than one pin you have to setup the driver to read from pin1, do a measurement, setup the adc for pin2, do a measurement etc.

Then what is the use of fifo?

From 17.4.8.9 in : The ADC FIFO is a 4-element-large FIFO for storing the results of ADC conversions.

The FIFO makes it possible to take samples from the ADC continuously and give time to transfer the samples to the consumer (see dev.ti.com/.../README.html for this usage)

Your provided link didn't open, kindly provide any other resource. Secondly, if I make two separate threads for two separate sensors to be attached to adc, is there is any kind of lock needed for synchronization?

I have modified the link in my original post to work.

I would assume that the easiest would be to read all sensors in one thread. Is it any reason you plan to use two different threads?

I was thinking to make the most of fifo. I think if i can use it in parallel with any synchronization implemented, it would be better

As said, nor the ADC or driver is designed for parallel usage. You still have to change input etc for each conversion and that takes time.
