Hi all,

I create a network system with two Launchxl-cc1350 which one of them is connected to BBB, while the other is radio node. I use the contiki 3.0, slip-radio and cc26xx-web-demo.

I setted channel 0 because the communication is at 868MHz and nullrdc_driver as RDC. Now, the communication works until 4 meters while it should works unti 25meters( I tested that with SmartRF Studio 7).

Which is in your opinion the problem?

When you build slip radio and cc26xx-web-demo, do you use " BOARD=launchpad/cc1350" as board config?

Either way, have you tested the range with SmartRF Studio first to confirm the range is poor?

Yes i tested in both case if the range is poor.

Have you checked that the RF switch on the board is actually selecting the sub 1-GHz path (in other words, is DIO30 high or low?)

ok Now I tried to use BOARD=launchpad/cc1350 for web demo and slip-radio, but there is a problem . I can't see the radio node when I open the Putty and I put the following command
lynx [bbbb::100], despite the light of radio node flashes very slowly(it means that there is communication between two devices?)
I also changed the nullmac in CSMA of slip-radio and I put channel 26 like channels of slip and web-demo
Which one the problem?

You can go to /6lbr folder and run "git checkout ff69ae4214407eeec4c71f87589ac4bc7d3a8a49" to rebuild 6lbr to test again. By the way, have you get better RF performance in line-of-sight test?

thanks to all I resolved the communication between two launchpad :)(slip and radio node)

Now there is another problem: I replace the radio node, which is a launchxl cc1350, with a sensor tag cc1350, but there isn't communication.
I explain better: the sensortag ,when it tries to connect to slip(which is launchxl cc1350), it' s like resetting(I noticed this with Putty).
These are the parameters that I used:
Ch:Channel 26
RDC:nullrdc
MAC:CSMA
this is the building command:
make TARGET=srf06-cc26xx BOARD=sensortag/cc1350 cc26xx-web-demo.bin

Which one is the problem in your opinion?

What UART output from your CC1350STK on Putty? By the way, can you share how you solve RF distance issue between two launchpad?

I have to wait a few minutes to refresh 6lbr and i had to change the plattform BOARD=lauchpad/cc1350(before i put cc1310)
However, the UART output on my Putty is UARTCOM 12

How can I do?

So, basically you use wrong board config so you have such range problem.

when i open the putty i have to do the serial communication and i have to insert the port, right ?(I put the uart com/12 like top)

The UART log looks fine. Are you sure it doesn’t pops on 6lbr sensor list? If not, I suggest you to setup sniffer to check what happens over the air.
