Code Compose Studio 8. In E70-433MS14 can't run EasyLink, uartEcho and Blink. No output. In Flash Programmer 2 cc1310 128K 20K 4x4 Chip version 2.0.

In E70-433NW30S cc1310 128K 20K 7x7 Chip version 2.1. EasyLink, uartEcho and Blink all works.

Chip version 2.0 (Rev A) and 2.1 (Rev B) compatible commands?

Do you revise pin defines in board files before you build and download those examples to test on 4x4 chip.

Note that a 4x4 and a 7x7 have different pinout, see www.ti.com/.../cc1310.pdf

You have to consult the datasheet for E70-433MS14 on which pin mapping that is used to incorporate this in your board file.

I found empty_min_CC1310DK_7XD_TI, empty_min_CC12650DK_7XD_TI and empty_min_CC2650DK_4XS_TI.

The easiest is to modify the CC1310_LAUNCHXL.h to your pinout. The pins that doesn't exist on a 4x4 you should set as PIN_UNASSIGNED

EasyLink-v2.40.02 in SDK v.2.30.00.20

commands ATPTM=5 and ATPCR? works good.

AT+RS no works.

If Enable ARM Hex utility- .HEX file no work.(work only .out file ).

EasyLink-v2.00.00 in TI-RTOS 2.21.00.06

Maybe...

One of the issues that was fixed from rev 2.0 to 2.1 is support for 433 MHz. On rev 2.0 the divider required to generate 433 MHz works on some devices, on some not.

chip version 2.0 in E70-433MS14 accepts packages from E70-433NW30S (30 dB-1W) with level -28...-30 dB.
Аntennas on the table. Reception lookin in SmartRF Studio. This is a normal level or it should be +30dB ?
In termindal chip version 2.0 gives the wrong characters. UART_init() for chip version 2.0 and chip version 2.1 may different? (divider setting for UART).

I use TI-RTOS v.21.00.06 (The pins that doesn't exist on a 4x4 set as PIN_UNASSIGNED in CC3110_LAUNCHXL.h and delete ADC in CC3110_LAUNCHXL.c)

In SDK v.2.30.00.20 PIN_UNASSIGNED and delete ADC and other (I2C, GPTimer... ) and

So if I understand you correctly you are doing the same modification to the board file in TI-RTOS 2.21 and SDK 2.3 and you get a compilation error on the later? Could you share the modified board file?

RSSI around -30 dBm sounds as expected.

No. Modification in CC3110_LAUNCHXL.h and CC3110_LAUNCHXL.c
Compiles - OK. Does not work

No result. Gives the wrong characters.
Temperature change to +2...+5 (snow box)- gives the correct characters.

version 2.0 vs version 2.1 should not have any impact on UART functionality.

Why are you trying this:

What do you mean by snow box, which temperature are you testing on?

For the UART issues, is this for the UARTecho?

Put the module in the box
Test UARTecho (9600) and rfEasyLink (115200).
+2..+5С i see letters. +20C - no.

Tx pin on GPIO_3 Rx on GPIO_2.
changed
Tx pin on GPIO_2 Rx on GPIO_1.
no result.

changed POWER 3.3v (another source)-

no result.

If UART adn pin driver for chip v2.0 and v2.1 they do not differ,
may be module bad.

Quartz frequency normal,
port output is OK. POWER 3.3- OK. I can check if I order another with a chip v.2.0 4x4.
Bat it does not work in SDK. v2.1 work in SDK and TI-RTOS.

- E70-433MS14: If this module is delivered with a rev 2.0 of CC1310 you should complain to the company you bought it from since pr erata CC1310 rev 2 does not support 433 MHz meaning that you have received a product that potentially does not work.

- It's very unclear from what you have written so far what exactly you are doing. I see no reason why UART should work on 2 degrees and not on 20 degrees. Have you tried to compare the UART lines for those two cases and see what is the difference?

I got a refund for the module. Waiting for another.
At this reception on 433 works. Transmission does not work.
Noticed that the cold uart works. I thought maybe quartz. Checked by cooling and changing the program.
