Linux/WL1837MOD: BLE communication

Part Number: WL1837MOD

Tool/software: Linux

Hello,

I'm using the WL1837MODGI unit to communicate with with BLE devices.

I encounter the following problems:

1.The following command is used for scanning the BLE devices:

# hcitool lescan

RSSI levels of ~ -75db are detected at distance of ~3 meters.

With an alternative Bluetooth device, RSSI levels of ~ -40db is detected at the same distance.

2. Disconnections are occurring when connecting to 3 and above BLE devices.

Are the problems above related to firmware?

Are the problems above related to configuration?

Can the Bluetooth power levels be controlled?

According to the user guide, the unit includes an RF switch for selecting the 2.4GHz antenna port.

How can the RF switch be controlled?

Thanks,

Uri
