CC3220: CC3220SF Set DHCP Hostname

Hi Team CC3220,

According to (https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/wifi/f/968/t/682605 ).."DHCP hostname is not supported at CC3200 or CC3100. In 2nd generation CC3220 or CC3120 it should be possible to change hostname by URN.". Can we set DHCP hostname for the CC3220? How do we do this?

Hi Merril,

This feature is not supported at 1st generation of devices at this moment (CC3200/CC3100). Because I am not familiar with features route map for 1st generation devices, I may to speculate. I do not expect a similar function will be implemented into 1rst generation of devices.

For current features route map for 1st generation devices, you should contact App Team directly.

There is currently not a plan to add this capability to CC3100/CC3200.

All,

I need to correct my statement -> Setting this based on the device URN was added to the CC3100/CC3200 in service pack v2.8.0.0 (and is therefore supported in the following versions).

If anyone is experiencing issues with the feature, please report them here so we can address them.
