LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: Zigbee 3.0 connection to Legacy HA1.2 network

Just getting started with Zigbee development using the LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1. I am able to successfully use the Simplelink Application examples to commission the End Devices with a LaunchPad Coordinator. (Zigbee 3.0 -> Zigbee 3.0).

I'm not having any luck trying to join the sample application End Devices to legacy HA1.2, compliant coordinators. (Ex: trying to commission the sample application ZED light (SDK 3.10) to a Samsung SmartThings Hub v2(HA 1.2 certified) .

Has anyone been able to successfully join a HA1.2 network using the LaunchPad and the sample applications? Can someone point me in the right direction to get this working or share any sample projects?

I have no problem to do this. I suppose SmartThings hub has block the device that it doesn’t allow to join.

Yes, it should be possible to join a Zigbee 3.0 device to a HA 1.2 network. Are you sure that both devices are using the same channel? Please provide a sniffer log for further clues regarding what the issue could be.

Ryan you were absolutely correct. I changed the channel number in ztack_config.h to match the channel used by my controller and things are working great now.
