For unknown reasons after some hours or more the evaluation board 430F5438 stopped communicating with the host PC via virtual COM port (physical USB connection). The only way as recommended by TI manual is to hard reset the board via S1 in order to load the BTS file again. It looked like the USB port itself is still working but the HW and/or FW on the board is not.
For continuing testing purpose the board cannot be stopped working. If this happens the best way is to soft reset the board via USB, or is there a way to modify the board so it can be remotely hard reset via a command?
