TLV320AIC3100EVM-U and STM32F4-DISCOVERY

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC256XQFNEM, CC2564

Hi everybody,

is there any way to connect TLV320AIC3100EVM-U to the system (STM32F4-DISCOVERY + CC256XQFNEM + CC256XEM-STADAPT)?

Thanks in advance

Paolo

  • Hi Paolo,

Moving this post to the Dual Mode Bluetooth forum where they will best be able to support requests for the CC256x.
  • Hi Paolo,

Which modes are you running the CC2564 on, master or slave? Are you using assisted or non-assisted mode?

For assisted master-mode as an audio sink, connect pins 5, 6, 7, and 8 on the CC256XQFNEM's debug header to the corresponding I2S inputs on the TLV320AIC3100EVM (TP4, TP5, TP6, TP7). Please refer to the user guide for each EVM to determine the correct pin connections.

For non-assisted master-mode as an audio sink, connect the I2S audio output pins from your STM32F4 Discovery board to the corresponding I2S inputs on the TLV32AIC3100EVM. The inputs are still TP4-TP7, and the audio data will be sent from the CC2564, to the STM32F4, to the audio CODEC.

Let me know if this helps.

    Justin

  • Thanks!

I Use CC2564 as master in assisted mode.
