Does CC2564C support secure connection? Accroding to sniffer trace, it seems secure connection dones't be supported by cc2654c.

Hi,

The LE Secure Connection feature is in the TI Dual-mode Bluetooth Stack for CC2564C. Are you using the latest stack for CC2564C?

Hi,

No, we are using opensygnery bluetooth Stack with BlueCore 4.1.
what i want to ask is Does CC2564 support secure connection? or how to enable it in controller? Thanks!

Hi,

Since the LE secure connection implementation is in the stack, the CC2564C supports the LE secure connection as long as the stack supports this feature. Hope this clarifies it.

Thanks for your quick feeback. i completely understood your explanation.
But the mask of Secure Connections (Controller Support) in page 2 of the extended features in CC2564C does not be set according to sniffer log.
If CC2564C supports secure connection, this mask should be 1.
You can check the table 3.4 Extended feature mask definition(page2) in page 556 of the Core_v4.2 for the mask.

Hi Dragon,

Thanks for the clarification.

The Secure Connections field in the extended feature will be set t supported when using Secure Simple Pairing. According to the Bluetooth Specs, the controller will have SSP disabled by default and it can be enabled by the HCI_Write_Secure_Connections_Host_Support command.

No, in my test environment the SSP has been enabled via service package (bts file).
Could you check the above sniffer trace? it should show that SSP has been enabled.
