CC2564CSTBTBLESW: f_write returning FR_DISK_ERR while working with AUDDemo Sample application

Part Number: CC2564CSTBTBLESW
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC256XSTBTBLESW

Hi,

I am trying to run the AUD Demo sample application that comes along with TI's CC256XSTBTBLESW on our STM3240G-Eval board.

After the decode call, I am trying to write the output into a file. However f_write returns "FR_DISK_ERR"

Things that I have tried:

1. f_write works well before I enter into MainThread() function. Its failing immediately after I enter into this function

2. Some search online directed me to this thread :  https://www.infineonforums.com/threads/4175-FATFS-problems-f_write-causes-FR_DISK_ERR

Can some one point us to the software/Hardware configurations that  can cause the above issue??

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Reshma

  • Hi,

The f_write() functions/FATFS drivers for the STM3240G-EVAL are not part of the CC256XSTBTBLESW. Moreover, this issue has nothing to do with Bluetooth directly. Since it is a non-TI MCU / drivers having this problem, I recommend you contact STM32 for this issue.

I will close this thread here.

    Best regards,
    Vihang
  • Vihang,

    Thanks for the reply.

We were not facing any issue with f_write while working with our projects. This issue was seen when we tried to introduce f_write in the AUD Demo sample application. We wanted to know if there was some setting being done in the sample application that was causing this error.

Can you direct us to any forum/thread/group in STMicro which address issues related to this??

    Regards,
    Reshma
  • Hi,

If you google search "STM32 forum", you will find the STMicro support forums.
