Linux/CC2564C: How to validate the effect of command HCI_VS_DRPb_Set_Class2_Single_Power

Hello,

I want to change the RF power of BR/EDR mode by command HCI_VS_DRPb_Set_Class2_Single_Power.

To prove that command HCI_VS_DRPb_Set_Class2_Single_Power takes effect, I need to validate it with hardware team help. And before this validation, what should I do, in which test mode, or send any HCI command? Is there such things to do?

Hi,

This VS command makes sure we always transmit at the same power level.
In order to validate it - measure the power before - when connected to different slaves/peers.
and test it afterwards to make sure you are now using the exact same power level on all of your TX.

In case i wasn't clear,
Without this command the TX power can vary between connections if the other side has issues receiving us.
after using the command - we should always transmit at the same power level.
