My sensortag doesn't read temperature data at all.

when I connect to sensortag, this App. can read characteristics for only 9 of 11 services.

I also tried to change configuration to enable temperature sensor in service explorer, it didn't work.

Pulling battery out didn't work....

This problem has been happened from the beginning of usage.

I have a suspicion on IR temp. sensor because the humidity sensor is good, which also read the ambient temperature though my sensortag app could not read characteristics (In fact, other app(Evothings) can read ambient temp with humidity)

Can I enable this function on my iphone? or Is this a HW failure?

Which FW do you run on your CC2650STK?

FW ver. is 1.20(Jul 20 2015)
Actually, I tried to change FW file to other version (lower ver.(v1.12) or Zigbee ver.(v1.20)), but it failed because device didn't disconnected(restarted) while upgrade FW.

Do you have CC-DEVPACK-DEBUGGER or SmartRF06 to download prebuilt FW in BLE Stack V2.1? If yes, I would suggest you to do it and test again.

Unfortunately, I don't have either.... I only have one sensorTag and iPhone. And even if I have, I don't have knowledge on programming.

Is this problem fixed by FW update?

I suspect this might be HW issue. Since you have tried to update FW but it still doesn't work. I suggest you to ask for replacement. I

I also have the same problem with my SensorTAG 2. Ambient Temperature and IR Temperature are not available.

My CC2650STK HW 1.2

I tried FW rev 1.12 ; 1.20 and latest one .hex from BLE2.1.1 ("Current FW rev.: 1.20 (Jan 13 2016)".

(I do not remember if my this HW worked in a right way before, though it seems I saw Temperature reading earlier. It could be HW fault because I use CC2650STK board without case and do not obey ESD precation...)

Try to ask for replacement from www.ti.com/.../faq-returns-and-refunds.page

If you have developer debugging board, you can download and reset the sensorTag.
But if you not, you'd better to ask replacement. You'll need Order ID from TI. I also asked for replacement and wait for Ti's answer.
