CC2650: Sensor Tag example, not working?

Hi,

I'm using CC250 with the sensor tag example given in the BLE stack and I couldn't find the Advertisement with the BLE scanner app.

I tried pressing the right button on the board(as defined in the pin table), but this did not made any difference.

Other examples given are found to be working fine. what could be going wrong ?

Do you build SensorTag binary by yourself?

Yes I built it myself.
The code get stuck in the below given snippet.

Do you use TI ARM compiler v5.2.6 in CCS to build the example?

NO, I used TI ARM compiler v5.2.9 in CCS to build the example

You have to use TI Arm Compiler v5.2.6 to build the example.

I tried both , but not working and TI Arm Compiler v5.2.6 was giving me trouble with another App I was developing .

Do you run it with CCS debugging or you run it without CCS debugging?

I run the code on CCS debugging mode only.

The compiler looks good. Do you also download sensortag_cc2650stk_stack into your CC2650STK too?

Yeah I have done it all.. but the code is getting halted in the previous section that was mentioned.

I'm having the same problem with a fresh install and brand-new CC2650 Launchpad. I tried both sensortag_cc2650lp_app and simple_peripheral_cc2650lp_app.

Application is stuck at while (Hwi_excHandlerFunc == NULL) {

Win7 x64
CCS v7.3
TI ARM complier 5.2.6
ble_sdk_2_02_01_18

Any solution?

I guess you're referring to SWRU393_CC2640_BLE_Software_Developer's_Guide.pdf page 34: "Sample applications that implement the Over the Air Download (OAD) firmware update capability require
the Boot Image Manager (BIM) project to be built"

I just tried building and downloading \examples\util\bim_extflash\cc2640\

Then I built and downloaded the sensortag_cc2650lp_stack and sensortag_cc2650lp_app again.

I still have the same problem. Stuck in hwi.

Could you be more specific? Of course I'm following that guide, I just quoted from it in my last post.

This is not working out-of-the-box. It's not looking good for choosing TI for my project.

Is there someone else out there who can help?
