How to read RSSI regsiter directly in microseconds

Hi,

I need to read RSSI when CC2541 receives a valiable synchronous word from a advertisement packet in every eight microsecond. However, I always get 0x80 which means inavalid RSSI value, when I read RSSI register directly. Is that possible to read RSSI value from RSSI register directly? Or need we follow some procedure when reading RSSI directly?

Hi Lei Zhou,

You can use the RSSI Callback to get the last known RSSI value as mentioned in the TI BLE Software Developer's Guide.

Hi Rachel,

Thanks for your answer. We want to get RSSI value in every eight microseconds . Therefore, we want to read RSSI from RSSI register dirctly without using Callback. Is that impossible?
