CC1200 FIFO_THR clarification

Looking for clarification on description of register / GPIO function, from link below pg. 18 and pg. 90

http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru346b/swru346b.pdf

Assuming FIFO_THR = 0, is it correct that RXFIFO_THR asserts when there are 2 bytes in RXFIFO? Deasserts with 1 byte in RXFIFO?

Thanks

  • Hi Darren

The explanation on page 90 is not consistent in the use of the term threshold. The threshold is the number programmed in the FIFO_THR register field. When the threshold is zero (FIFO_THR = 0) RXFIFO_THR  is asserted when there are 1 or more bytes in the RXFIFO and de-asserted when there are 0 bytes there.
