FCC CFR compliance of CC430F5133

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC430F5133

Hi,

Do we have some info on the FCC CFR compliance standard 47.95 compliance for CC430F5133? The application is medical implantable transceiver and it needs to be compliant to it for MICS.

What is mentioned in the datasheet is it is FCC CFR 47 part 15 compliant which is not sufficient for medically implantable applications.

Please do tell me whether it is compliant and if not what device that we have is compliant to the FCC CFR 47.95 standard.

  • I am not familiar with FCC CFR 47.95, and to my knowledge, we have not tested any of our devices towards this standard. With the information you have, are there any particular part or requirements in 47.95 that you are know of that can be an issue?

  • HI,

Thanks for the response i'm looking for a device to replace the device given below for medically implantable transceivers.

    ZL70101 from Microsemi

Can we replace it from one of our CC430 devices while complying to FCC CFR 47.95?

I'm not aware of the exact requirements but it is important for medical compliance of the implantable devices. You can find more on the link in the previous post.

  • I am sorry, but I am not familiar with the FCC CFR 47.95 standard as we do not test for this, and unfortunately we do not have the bandwidth at current time to look into detail on this. If you have any particular CC430 RF parameter that you are not sure of and that you can not find in any documentation or datasheet, we can help, but we can not go through the entire standard. Maybe somebody else has some experience to share with you, sorry for not being of more help.
