CC1110 - Baudrate of 1.2K

Hi.

I have two boards with cc1110. Minimum baudrate that I get it's 2.4K. If I put in Smart RF a baudrate of 1.2K, after my boards don't communicate.

What will be the problem?

Thanks.

  • Alcidia,

    • It is most likely that the boards are too close to each other and you are jamming the LNA of the receiving board by having a too strong of a signal. This jamming issues is reduced as the data rates increase.
      • I recommend moving them at least 2 meters apart.
    • The second most common thing is the TX and RX frequencies are not close enough, this can be validated using a spectrum analyzer.
      • The RX bandwidth of the CC1110 is 58kHz, you need to have the two boards tuned to within 20kHz of each other.

I hope this helps, if not, please post your findings and I will make further suggestions.

    It didn't work.

Yes, and the boards work with baudrate of 2.4K... 250K, but with a baudrate of 1.2K don't work yet :(

  • Alcidia,

Strange, are you using the default configuration parameters as found in SmartRF studio?
