CC1120: PKT_SYNC_RXTX delay

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1120

Hello, we are developing FHSS application using CC1120. Our operating condition are the following:

FIFO mode, variable packet length, 2GFSK modulation, 125 KHz bandwidth and 57600 bps (set by Smart Rf Studio). In TX, we use the PKT_SYNC_RXTX (06) on a GPIO to show the sync word transmission and, later, the end of the packet. With a packet length of 2 bytes, 4 bytes of preamble and 2 bytes of sync word, the measured time between the strobe TX and the first change in the GPIO (showing the sync word transmission) is of 10.5 milliseconds, followed by a time of 4.1 milliseconds of packet transmission. Is there a way to reduce these times, specially the first ?

Best regards
