CC1200 Frequency settings

Hi,

For some testing I want to transmit signal in range of frequencies. The range is from 430Mhz – 440Mhz in steps of 0.1Mhz. I just want to confirm that the only registers I will need to change are FREQ0, FREQ1, FREQ2. Is it correct?

I will build a table of frequencies with SmartRF but if you have a function that can generate those registers it will be great.

You are correct that you only need to change the FREQ2,1,0 regsiters to operate in the 430 to 440 MHz frequency range.

How can I calculate the register values if I want to adjust the frequency in between 865-867MHz?

Thank you. Then once I change the FREQ register values and perform same test how we can i understand whether its operating in the correct frequency?

To verify that the device is sending at the programmed frequency (remember to calibrate the synth after chaining) you need a spectrum analyzer.

In the firmware project if we are only changing FREQ values then how about "freqConfiguration" ? This one is also reffering various frequency right? And is there any document for understanding all the instructions?

Not sure I understand your question. What do you mean by freqConfiguration? What firmware are you referring to?
