Hi,

I designed my CC1200 board and I'm now performing some tests.

Does it make any sense enabling Viterbi if I transmit and receive a 1.2 kbps FSK?

In our recommended settings viterbi is always enabled.

could you briefly explain me how CC1200's Viterbi works?

Is it a channel equalizer, right?

We don't share implementation details on a open forum. Viterbi gives better performance than not using it and the cost is just a few bits latency through the receive chain.
