CC1xxx Transceiver IC at 137 to 158.3 MHz?

Hi,

I'm looking to use an IC in the CC1xxx range (eg CC1101/CC1120/CC1200) for FSK Transmission at 145.8 MHz (Amateur Radio Band).

The datasheets state "Possible Support" for 137 to 158.3 MHz - does this mean that the IC may support it, but not officially? Or that another version of the IC may need to be sourced from TI for use in this frequency band?
