can cc1200 work with zigbee architecture

Hello E2E contributors for CC1200,

We are trying to identity a sub-1Giga transceiver for Zigbee architecture, can anyone give me advice on whether cc1200 could work with Zigbee architecture, thanks!

CC1200 is a good choice for a mesh network. Do you intend to run zigbee or a more generic mesh network? If the later, have you looked into contiki (processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Contiki-6LOWPAN)

Hello TER,

We do not have to run Zigbee, it has 2 tiers. The top level need to be meshed, but the bottom subnet is a star topology. There could be more than 1000 nodes per site. It is a large market.

We are identify the technologies, compare different approaches right now.

It would be good if we can talk about it?
