Stack Consumption Problem

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: Z-STACK

Following the instructions by the support guys I'm opening this post.

I have already explained the problem at the link above.

http://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/b/lprfblog/archive/2014/06/08/new-app-note-on-cc2538-power-consumption-measurement-and-optimizations-using-z-stack.aspx

An e-mail was also sent to Mr Semerkono Awesamu explaining the whole problem we're facing and the need of solution because of a delivery of 4000 devices.

The problem can be seen here at those pictures.

Picture 1 - Achieved results

Picture 2 - Expected results.

Thanks once again for the attention you guys from support are always giving to us and hope to hear from you ASAP.

Best regards.

  • Hi Danilo,

We understand the issue. What ZigBee profile are you working on ?

    Thanks,

    Saurabh

  • Thanks for you answer Saurabh,

We're using the Z-Stack profile as ZigBee PRO Stack Profile

And the profile 0xc000 - 0xffff - Manufacturer Specific Application Profile.

We chose that because we must deal with a Digi compatibly of our devices. Our first generation of sensors use the Digi ZBPro components and we couldn't let our clients without this compatibility of hardware, because the most part of them acquire new devices to use with the old ones.

As passed to others guys from support it's very important to inform you we're using a customized version of the firmware. This also happens because of that necessity of compatibility with Digi's hardware and it's Ember's standards.

    Compilation >> 3288.Home1.2.0LibEmberWAr3.zip.

I just bother Jim and Sem a lot with this problem but the Engineering team it's really desperate on that solution, since we have 4000 devices to deliver til the end of this week.

Thanks once again for your help and hope to hear great news from you.

    Best regards.

  • Hi Saurabh Narang

I wold like to know if you have some up to date consernning the Z STACK issue? Because I have the same problem.

I hope to ear from you soon

    Best regards

  • Danilo,

Please provide the version of Z-stack you are using.

    Thanks,

    TheDarkSide

  • TheDarkSide,

    The Z-Stack version is Z-Stack Home v1.2.0

Just remembering once again that we use a customized Texas Instruments version Compilation >> 3288.Home1.2.0LibEmberWAr3.zip.

But we are also making test on the standard compilation from you. As said before we are facing this problem with both versions.

Thanks and hope to hear from you ASAP. Tic Tac the deadline is here.

    Best regards.
