Dear all,

I want to set to the timeout of NWM_DO_JOIN as short as possible.

How long does pairing surely complete .

NWM_DO_JOIN command recommended more than 500ms .

But The command will use ~500 ms to scan the entire RF channel space once.

    How long does it take from NWM_DO_JOIN command to pairing complete ?

    I'd like to know the minimum time of the JOIN_TO value (timeout) of NWM_DO_JOIN command at good air condition ( without any packet error ).

     

    Datasheet says :

      The command will use ~500 ms to scan the entire RF channel space once.

      Using a JOIN_TO value below 50 (= 500 ms) is not recommended.

     

    What is the shortest recommended value?

    Hi,

    An estimate of the minimum time between NWM_DO_JOIN until the joining of the network is completed would be ~10-15 time slots. This means that the minimum time depends on the time slot period of the network.
