Hello
Is it possible to pair a master with range extender (CC8531+CC2590) to a slave without range extender (only CC8531) ?
I have tried to pair them, but seems that its not working.
Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Yes, this is possible. But it is recommended to always use range extender on both devices to get the best possible performance.
Maybe we can find the issue you are seeing if you give some more information about your setup.

Attached is my circuit for cc8531+cc2590 for master/transmitter. For receiver/slave, I using only cc8531 without cc2590. The slave/receiver is working because I already test it with another master(cc8531) without range extender (cc2590), its working perfectly.
FYI, I refer CC85XX+CC2590EM for design the board. For setting in PurePath Configurator, I just change the 'Range extender' to 'CC2590(HGM)' only for master with cc2590
I doubt about RB3 because as I refer other evaluation module, there are no 10K res at PAEN.
