What is Program/Erase endurance cycle of Application non-volatile variable storage?

Hello,

According to datasheet of CC85xx, Program/Erase endurance cycle of Flash is 1000.

And I found that last volume setting and Network ID can be saved in is embedded flash on CC85xx Family User’s Guide.

Does that mean Volume setting can be save only 1000 times? Again, is it available only 1000 times for pairing if there are several users who have their own Tx and one Receiver with speaker system, and users need to pair their own Tx to the fixed Receiver?

Thanks,

Shaka

  • Hi,

The non-volatile memory is 1 KB, this means that the 4 words (32 bits) accessible of non-volatile memory can be written 64000 times before reaching the 1000 write-cycle limit. The memory is also only written when there are any new information to save, you will not e.g. write the same Network ID multiple times if you re-pair with the same network.

    Regards,
    Johan
