CC2540 EV - tansmitting fixed amount of packets

I have the component ev cc2540. 
 I would like to transmit through the BT  a certain amount of packets to another DUT component to make a calculation of PER, but I do not know how to perform this test. 
 how to set the CC2540 to transmit a predefined amount of packets ?
