Wakeup SensorTag CC2541 code?

I am working on an app to communicate with the TI Sensortag.   I am unable to push the button on the tag to wake it up, because of it's location.  Is there a way to wakeup the sensortag using the radio from android?  Is there example code somewhere?

    Hi Robert,

    I don't fully understand your use case. If you refer to the side key, this is used to start/stop advertising making it possible to connect to the SensorTag.
    Since you are not in a connection before this you are not able control the device. Is this what you mean?
