Bluetooth using cc2540

Hello,

We are developing a bluetooth device using cc2540. During the hardware design in the reference layout it is noted that the antenna point is directly connected to the ground. Is it an error or if it is correct please explain. We are using swrr072 as our reference design. The antenna will be PCB antenna same as in the design.

Could you specify more specifically what you mean, I am not sure I understand?

One part of the antenna is grounded directly, but the feed point should not be grounded.

Hi Eirik,

Please find the image for your reference. The antenna is a PCB antenna and see the grounding and feeding point.I have used TIs swrr072 as the reference design. Please clarify
