Approx 1uA with RTC enabled and SRAM+CPU retention enabled when using the internal DC/DC @ 3V: http://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/cc2640

We're covering the CC26xx family as well as you can read our post introducing the CC2640 and CC26xx SoC Family. We have also compared to other devices out there. Looks to be a very good part and differentiated from the competition in good ways.

Since we cannot use crystals in our application I need to know the operating voltage of the core CPU in the CC2640/50. The datasheet does not say. I need to supply an external clock from a MEMS oscillator on the 24MHz crystal input pins. I need to know the voltage of this clock waveform (it was 1.8V in CC2541...) but I suspect the core may now be operating at a lower voltage.

Hello Eric,
External clock signal for CC2640 should be 0-1.8V square wave applied to X24M_P pin while X24M_N pin is left floating.
Clock source should also be appropriately programmed on the device. Regards,
