Trouble Connecting CCS to CC2650 SensorTag DevPack

I have similar problem, Error message: Error connecting to the target:
                                                               (Error -600 @ 0x0)
                                                               A required dynamic library could not be located.
                                                               The library isn't on the search path.
                                                               (Emulation package 5.1.641.0)

any step I miss?

and I don't know how to change debug  device from XDS100 to XDS110, should I need to install something?

I do have the some problem.

In the target configuration I try to change from XDS100V3 to XDS110

Then I get a new error told me that maybe the FW need update or the serial number not correct. I update the FW and serial of the DevPack using the xdsdfu.exe tool and finish success.

BUt as expected didn't help.

When make again a test in the target configuration after set the new debugger I get this stetments:

Then  I see you write to change to XDS110 in the debug property both in SensorTag and SensorTagStack.

I go there and see there are 3 option for XDS110.  IcePicK, CS_DAP and M3_0. where my default was on M3_0.

I leave in M3_0 (is it right?).

In the error explanation there was also option of USB connection problem. Also I hear the sound of connecting new device in the PC I don't see and change on the device manager when I connect the DevPack..Maybe there is the problem,Where and what name of device I shell get when connect the debugger?

SO what next can I do?

Strange but I now run one more time and I get this error:

As you can see it written it is IcePick_C and not the CortexM3. Maybe there is a problem?

As I know, there is no user guide for DevPack yet. You would see "XDS110 Class Application/User UART (COMxx)" and "XDS110 Class Auxiliary Data Port (COMxx)" in device manager when you connect DevPack to your desktop.

Using CCS v6.1 with XDS110 and CC13xx/CC26xx
CCS v6.1 supports XDS110 when the latest updates are applied.

Check if your installation already has support for XDS110.
Project Properties -> General -> Connection.
Confirm if Texas Instruments XDS110 USB Debug Probe is listed in the drop down menu.
Select and repeat procedure for all projects in Workspace.
If XDS110 is not listed, re-run the CCS installer
Select TI XDS Debug Probes on the Debug setup menu. Note that a full re-install will not be performed.
After installation select Help -> Check for Updates and apply all updates.

The XDS 110 debugger does not show up in my CCSV6  (6.1.0.00104). I have tried manual installs and auto installs. All I ever see are XDS100 options in the pulldown. I bought the DevPack but it is useless without this.

In the ti_emupack_setup_5.1.641.0.exe installer there is no option for an XDS110, only XDS100. Where do I get the correct installer for CVS  Version: 6.1.0.00104 ??

If you start Flash Programmer 2, can you see XDS110 after you press the refresh button on Flash Programmer 2?

After debugging with the SCS task_testing application I received the following error:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -154 @ 0x0)
One of the FTDI driver functions used to
write data returned bad status or an error.

I reflashed the cc2650 with flashprogrammer 2 but I am still unable to debug in CSS. Is there a way to reflash the XDS100 if I disconnected incorrectly?

This is the error message you will get it you  select the XDS100 as debugger. Make sure you select XDS110 when using the Debug DevPack. You will find detailed instructions here:http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Debug_DevPack_User_Guide

Hi Chen, 

When I ran the Smart RF Flash Programmer 2, I did not get XDS1100. Instead, I got (Conexant HDA D330 MDS V.92 Modern). 

It still is giving me the error after I did the steps in the cloud link you gave me. Thanks for helping me.

I never heard that CC-DEVPACK-DEBUGGER needs to be charged. However, you have to put CR2032 battery into SensorTag and connect CC-DEVPACK-DEBUGGER to SensorTag before you connect USB cable between CC-DEVPACK-DEBUGGER and SensorTag.

Thanks for all the help. I tried all the suggestions and it still gives me the error message.

When I use the Smart RF Flash Programmer 2, it does not give me XDS110 when I press the refresh. 

What do you think is the issue here?

I have same problem. I checked the device manager, there is no XDS110 items but  a Stellaris Device there. Is it a driver problem?

I put a battery in and then got this below. It looks like cannot find the right driver for XDS110. I tried the driver from 'Flash Programmer 2', but still cannot install correct driver.

Yes, I have installed the Flash Programmer 2 (SmartRF_Flash_Programmer_2-1.6.3) and XDS Emulation Software Package (ti_emupack_setup_6.0.14.0_win_32). 

I tried to point the driver to 'Texas Instruments\SmartRF Tools\drivers\XDS110' and 'C:\TI\CCSV6\CCS_BASE\COMMON\USCIF\XDS110', but nothing changed.

I suspect that there may be an issue with the format of the serial numbers if you update using the command line interface. Please test the following batch file to update the firmware and serial number
