Hello,

I need some directions regarding my project.

My project is the following:

1. Drive a sensor

2. Connect it to the ADC on the CC2540

3. Read and transmit the data to a phone or a PC via BLE

I have the CC2540 Mini Development Kit ( USB Dongle, Keyfob, CC Debugger, Coin cell battery ). I have been reading the Software Developer's Guide and the datasheet for CC2540 but I couldn't move my project forward.

I was wondering which example projects I should use and what things I should look into or consider in order to get this project done.

Since you use mini kit, I suggest you starting from KeyFob Demo example. You can refer to CC2540/2541 Mini Development Kit user's guide.

Thanks Chen. How do I go about the transmitting the data through BLE to a phone or PC?

You can try to use GATT_WriteLongCharValue to do this. GATT_WriteLongCharValue() expect an response for each packet as stated in the TI BLE Vendor Specific HCI Guide. You can refer to the discussions at .

Thank you. Would this be easier or more convenient to do with the sensor tag ( at this point I have an option to choose another kit if it works better)?

I see no big difference. If you already have KeyFob, it is good enough.
