CC2650 connect with iOS 9.0.2 app 'Old firmware detected" but will not update

Hi there,

for some reason the update first fixed the issue but now my iPhone (iOS 9.0.2 ) when it connects to the sensortag, by using he TI app, the first message i get is:
- "Old firmware detected (fw 1.12 BLE)"
- when I press update
- and want to select fw version
- a short message immediately displays that update was succesfull
- the Sensortag disconnects.

This repeats everytime I choose 'sensorview' ..

Is there some sort of 'factory default' procedure or manual fw update .

Have you tried following the steps in the FW Upgrade section of the SensorTag User Guide, found on the TI BLE Wiki: www.ti.com/ble-wiki?

Thx for pointing me to the wiki!

I've dowloaden BLE stack 2.1 and smartRF ....2 .

But the device isn't recognized and when I do a 'forced mass erase'' the status message below is:

really bricked?

You can try to update the XDS110 firmware using the xdsdfu program included in directory "C:\ti\ccs_base\common\uscif\xds110" over the USB connection.

To program the firmware, follow these steps:

1) Plug the XDS110 debug probe into your computer. Make sure that you only have one XDS110 class debug probe plugged in. The xdsdfu program will attempt to flash the first XDS110 debug probe it finds.

2) Run the following two commands in command console from the directory "C:\ti\ccs_base\common\uscif\xds110":

xdsdfu -m
xdsdfu -f firmware.bin -r

After updating FW to your XDS110, connect CC2650 SensorTag to your XDS and see if it can be recognized.

was able to put the firmware on it..but now no message but after selecting 'sensor view'it reboots after a second or 2-3,..

any other suggestions?

Yes, I have. To be sure I deleted and reinstalled from the App Store .

No difference: after selecting 'sensor view', it displays for 2-3 seconds all sensors and then disconnects (I hear a click, and the red light flashes and dan green starts to pulse)
