PAN1326B(CC2564B) SP 1.0_BT_Spec_4.1.bts with Bluetopia Stack

Hi,

I am using Bluetopia 1.4R2 in which CC2564B.h contains a patch labeled SP 0.2 which works just fine initializing the chipset.

I then visited the wiki and download the latest patch for CC2564B, used the BHET tool, loaded the file, saved it as .h format, modified it from byte data to 16bit word data and then used it to initialize the chip - it does not work, however if I revert to the SP0.2 patch in the code, it works fine. I have attached the file - please let me know why it wont load properly.

Hi,

You need to follow the bellow steps

Select the Service pack you want to download
Select modify SP tab and disable sleep. --> disable sleep
Select the Save as option and save the file as CC2564B.h.
Take a backup of CC2564B.h file and place the new CC2564B.h and you are good to go.

Hi Sundeep, thanks for responding. I have done the sleep disabling but that didn't work. Can you please inspect the file I uploaded to make sure it checks against the process you highlighted ?

Hi Sundeep,

I compared the file you uploaded and the file I uploaded while overlooking byte and word formats and they are spot on the same.

If I compare the SP0.2 patch generated by BHET and the one found in the code, they are different. What is StoneStreet One adding to these files to make them work ? Any ideas ? Can you point me to any posts where folks have updated these patch files successfully ?

The file I have provided is the latest SP, and I was able to successfully use it with out any problems.

Hi Sundeep, I have just completed manually comparing the patches and I notice that the patch in the code purposefully does not enable BLE while the BHET tool does (will check this as soon as I get to HW tomorrow).

Also the patch in the SS1 stack sets a couple of power vectors 0xfd82 and single power class 2 (0xfd87) while the BHET tool does not (again will check tomorrow if this works without).

Hi,

The SP I have provided in '.h' format has BLE included. the power vectors are taken from the ROM and you don't have to worry about it.
