hi.

now, i want MSPAUDSINK demo , "A3DPDemo_SNK project ", at thr IAR Workbench 6.10.5

but i can't not build, error occur. TT

i open workspace

C:\ti\Connectivity\CC256X BT\CC256x MSP430 Bluetopia SDK\v1.5 R1\MSP430_Experimentor\Samples\A3DPDemo_SNK\Projects\IAR\A3DPDemo_SNK.eww

and change to debug-A3DP SNK Board

and Build all

and below is error message

Error[e16]: Segment DATA20_C (size: 0x1d21 align: 0) is too long for segment definition. At least 0x1d more bytes needed. The problem occurred while processing the segment placement command

Hi,

There seems to be an issue with the current version of IAR 6.10.5. Please note that demo is already optimized just to fit the board, it is difficult to make further changes. However, if you remove one of the display statments in the demo application should fix it without causing any functionality issues. Also, If you have an older version (6.10.2 or .3) rolling back to the older version will not have the same issues.

Hi,

I'm Anthony Jouret from a french company. I will may start a development on MSP430+CC2560 soon.

I want to run the A3DPDemo_SNK project on my board for my first test. The thing is that I have the same problem as Wooeun lee I can't compile at all the project. I tried with IAR 6.10.5 and then after I saw this forum I tried with IAR 6.10.2 (and with new fresh installation of all files) and it's still the same issue. I did not modify anything at all.

I look into the documentation, and through the e2e Forum and found nothing.

Hi,

For New question it is advisable to create a new thread.

CC2560 Doe not support A3DP demo, only CC256xB devices support this demo.

If you are facing the same issue as mentioned in the above thread, As mentioned by SSO you can comment out any Display function, It worked for me (for example see below)
