Hi,
Let me check it internally and get back to you on this.
Hi Daniel,
VIO_HOST is not connected to VDD_1V8_LS.
VIO_HOST is used for the voltage rail of the host's IOs. In most cases, the main voltage of the host (VBAT_MCU) and the IO voltage of the host (VIO_HOST) is the same. Therefore, VIO_HOST and VBAT_MCU are shorted thru R1 for default on the EM board.

Hi,
I'm observing VIO_HOST-VBAT_MCU short with R1 removed, on two different EM's. I believe this is local failure, probably related to EM's batch. I should, again, carefully inspect these boards to find the root cause.
Thanks for your answer.
Regards,
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
All the EM boards pass a PLT testing and they should fail if R1 is not connected. Could you send me a picture of your boards? Back and Front.
BTW, would you like to return these boards? I am checking how these can be done.
