Hi,
You can use the Bluetooth hardware evaluation tool to configure the baudrate to 3M, you can get it from our main wiki http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC256x
Thank you for your answer. I have tried the tool but could not figure how to modify the .bts file without sending it to the module. I have module mounted on embedded board running Linux so it's not possible to connect it to my Windows machine. Any suggestions?
Hi,
In the Send SP tab, first open the Service pack you want to modify.
and use the Modify SP, you will have option Baud rate using which you can change the baud rate and save it.
After I open BTS file from the tool, the 'Modify SP' stays disabled.
The wiki page says:
"Click on Browse to look for the BTS file and open it. The Status will then changed to "Received BTS file". Reset the target BT device then click on "SEND" to load the service to the CC256x BT device."
"After loading SP, Modify SP button will be enabled'
I am able to open the BTS file however I am unable to load it to the BT device because I do not have BT device connected to my Windows machine. Therefore, the Modify SP' button stays disabled so I cannot click on it.
Any suggestions how to modify the SP without loading it to the BT device?
Thank you.
Hi,
You don't have to load it.
1. Start the BHET tool
2. Use the Browse button and select the BTS you want to edit. after selecting you will see the below
3. Now click on the modify tab and change the baud rate and save it (either as BTS or ".h" file).
4. This new file will have your desired baud rate and you can use it where ever you want
Like I mentioned several times, the Modify SP button in my version stays disabled. I'll try to re-download the tool in case its version has changed since I downloaded it last time.
After I re-downloaded the tool it all of sudden worked. I was able to modify baud rate to 3000000, everything works now.
Thank you for your help
