Dear Sir,

I have paired a BT device with my android phone. I can run Inquiry command on CC2564 and get the address of the phone, but is it possible to obtain the paired device list on phone, using the CC2564? What I need is, to find out the address of the offline device.

Hi,
The default demo provided does not handled this, you need to implement it, By have to table of Bluetooth addresses and its state (like the for Inquiry we add to the list "InquiryResultList" and display it when required), then read it when required.

Dear Sir,

I tried with GAP_Perform_Inquiry command and that invoke GAP_Event_Callback function, also return GAP_Event_Data_t data structure. I am sorry, I didn’t find a way to get paired devices list. Would you mind to provide me more details with sample code set? What will be very helpful.

Hi,

For example in SPPDemo.c

When we start the inquiry, when ever a device is found the GAP_Event_Callback() is called with event etInquiry_Result. where we are adding the devices found to a the InquiryResultList[], and this inquiry list (devices found) can be displayed by calling DisplayInquiryList.

Dear Sir,

Thank you very much. Now, I have BT address of my phone, I got it from here. InquiryResultList[Index] = GAP_Inquiry_Event_Data->GAP_Inquiry_Data[Index].BD_ADDR. The BD_ADDR (my phone) has been bonded with another BT device name call Alpa. The Alpa is offline, I want to find the address of the Alpa. (BD_ADDR bond with …??)

Hi,

Do you mean the DUT (CC2564) is connected to Your phone, and your phone is connected to another BT device Alpa. In addition Alpa is offline (BT is off on alpa).

In the above case you want to get the BD_address of alpa right?

If BT is not active (offline) DUT can not search for alpa and get its BD address. Only way to get is The phone should send the BD address of the Alpa to DUT. This is generic BT.
