Can I use HFP (unassisted) and BLE on a CC2564?

Hi TI,

The CC2564 Datasheet explicitly states that it does not support assisted Hands-Free-Profile and BLE at the same time, since the co-processor used for BLE is also the co-processor used for assisted HFP.

If we were to use Bluetopia's HFP implementation on a capable Tiva C would it offer us an "unassisted" HFP implementation out-of-the-box? Have such configurations been tested?

Martin,

Note that non-assisted HFP 1.6 (WBS) is supported by the CC2564 device, BUT it is not supported by the TI Bluetooth Stack. In fact, it is not recommended given that the mSBC encoder/decoder + packet loss concealment (PLC) has to run on the host for this mode.

You should also note that BLE + HFP 1.5 (NB) can run simultaneously.
