Thanks for pointing me at the logger tool. I have a logic analyser on the HCI comms already.

I get TXed 0x01,0x03,0x0c,0x00     followed by the reply   0x04,0x03,0x04,0x01,0x03,0x0c,0x00  after that nothing.

I have confirmed the incomming buffer   artContext.RxBuffer[UartContext.RxInIndex]  is populated with the recieved bytes (as above).

But what happends next ? what can I check for the next stage ?

This morning when I ran it for the first time it connected with no errors.

As the day has progressed it has errored with -4 and -6 so has become intermittant.

I am in the process of trying to understand the firmware debug -- I think I have it set up correctly ..... be good if you could confirm the settings.

Selected both the 6.7.16 xml and ili files but the logger doesn't produce traces like the wiki ???

I skipped using a TI reference platform (based on having a CooCox STM32F429 project and hardware already set up, and cost and time). Given the issue I found with bluetopia been build on the ST standard periferal library and me using the ST32Cube library I'm glad I chose this route.

I connected the TI CC2564MODNEM development board direct to my STM32F429 hardware.

I have the following signals connected

3.3v, GND, RX, TX, RTS, CTS, Nshutdown and 1.8v Debug (for use with logger).

I have checked the reset sequence and 100ms after Nshutdown goes high RTS goes low as expected.

After that comms looks good and the chip responds. The patch downloads.

Can you see any reason this will not work ? does the development board need any other connections ?

Also if can confirm my software\firmware version from my previoud posts I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Can you just confirm that it's ok to simply add the LE add on to the end of the basepatch array please ?

Also I have rerun the SPPLE demo on my hardware and it works OK, but I came across this error (see serial  trace below).

It suggests that there is a limit of three serial connection at once is this true ?

Is this just a limit on serial connections ? my application require simultanious connection to 4 server LE devices , can you confirm this is possible with other profiles ?

Then I get hundreds of line showing "Remove voice link request was received with the wrong handle"

Any ideas ? I think there is definitley someting wrong with the UART\HCI set up ?

Yes, you can attach a file to this thread. You need to click on the "Use rich formatting" option on the bottom-right of the panel to populate all the options. Then there is a "Insert file" option for it.

Here is the logger trace file of the stack failing to connect. If you can see reasons why it goes wrong I would appreciate the input.

Changed the file name from .lgr to .zip so it will allow the upload, you can change it back. (otherwisChanged to cpUART.zipe got a message saying not supported upload).

Is anyone from TI monitoring this forum ? is there any support available ?

How exactly is assisted audio modes enabled ? is it part of the patch OR a build define ?
