I am trying to get the kit up and running according to the instructions at http://www.ti.com/lit/ml/slab069/slab069.pdf.

1) When I complete the step "Load the Target Binary" i do not get a heartbeat until I close UniFlash.

2) As soon as I open the Stollmann NFCPlayer (version 1.0.57.5) the heartbeat LED turns off (stops blinking).

3) After selecting Start NFC I get NFC: Start Fail in the lower left corner and the log reports

! CNfcInstance::nfcStart:Creating a RW-NFC-instance failed (code:4)

! CNfcPlayer::nfcStart:Instance initialization failed (code:4)

Hi Kerry,

Can you please make sure that you have the IRQ Sel jumper in the correct position as shown on page 15?

The jumper is in position 1 as shown on page 15.

I am using the MSP-EXP430F5529LP. Is that correct? It looks different than that shown on page 15.

Please be sure that you are also loading the correct firmware. You can find the project at the link below. There was another thread about this recently. Please have a look there and see if this project works for you. Let me know.

I finally found that I had to power down and back up after Uniflash. Now it seems to be working.

Power down the PC or just the LP ? I get only NFC fail

Got that - the port got a different number.
