The difference from TMS3705A and TMS3705B

I would like to confirm the difference from TMS3705A and TMS3705B.

In the data sheet, I found it.

1. TMS3705B allow higher data rate.

2. TMS3705A can adjust the carrier frequency to the resonance drequency automatically.

But I can not the how much is the data rate TMS3705B can allow and can not find the merit of the use TMS3705B.

Could you please teach the difference and the merit of the use TMS3705A and TMS3705B?

the TMS3705A1DRG4 is the active (orderable) device - i am not sure about the -B. I will ask the automotive LF RFID product guys to look at your post here and comment.

The TMS3705B is fully backwards compliant and through improvements strongly recommended for new design. Difference to rev A is described here: http://www.ti.com/product/tms3705

The TMS3705A1DRG4 can adjust the carrier frequency to the transponder resonance frequency automatically by giving the counter state of the transponder resonance-frequency measurement directly to the frequency divider by setting the first four bits in high state. This setting is not available for TMS3705BDRG4.

The B revision has also a couple of other improvements, also to work with future TI tags.
