Two additional questions:

Is the source code also available somewhere?

The flash programmer from Elprotronic doesn't list RF430F5978 as an option. Is there another Microcontroller type that's equivalent?

Hi Carl,

correct the Elprotronic doesn't list the RF430F5978. For the flash programmer select the CC430F6137 Microcontroller.

The microcontroller at RF430F5978 is a CC430F6137. More detail information at the User Guide.

Thanks guys, I've successfully downloaded the code and the evaluation kit is back functioning as designed. Is the source code available somewhere?

the source code is not available for download yet. To finalize the source code for handover to the customer is ongoing.

We plane to publish the source code on our web-site end of January 2015.

the RF430F5978EVM firmware version 1.1 now downloadable at TI-Website

• The firmware download include the complete RF430F5978EVM CCS project
• With firmware version 1.1 the RF430F5978EVM module standby current consumption is now ~7uA
