Peer to Peer TRF7970A EVM

hello members

I did a P2P test on two EVM. but it does not work.
GUI will get an error dialog.
error message is [Set New Target CID number]

Why does not work, I want you to tell me the cause

    We've done some test but, peer to peer mode of TRF7970A EVM does not work.

    I have compared the TI-GUI and UsersGuide, I found some of the differences.

    ISO14443A of GUI Tab
    Part of the red frame is different from the user guide page 27 of (SLOU321) Figure22.
    Is this not a problem?

    TI-GUI ISO14443B Tab
    (SLOU321 Figure24 of 31 pages of parts and user guide of red frame There is a difference.
    Is this not a problem?

    TEST Tab

    1)
    I sent the command of user guide (SLOU321) of 43 page Table8 to EVM.
    but, LED is not toggle action.

    2)

    Not be echoed back.
    I was sent in accordance with user guide (SLOU321), but are not echo back.

    The peer-to-peer functionality with this GUI on the TRF7970AEVM has not been updated for a long time. We have an updated and more reliable peer-to-peer reference design that you can learn more about and download documentation here:

    www.ti.com/.../TIDM-NFC-P2P

    It uses a TRF7970A transceiver with a more powerful MCU that supports most of the handsets available today.

    im understand more good solution NFC-Link Solution, use MSP430F5529 EVM or LaunchPad.
    im check the operation even EVM.

    BTW
    Can I operate a P2P in TRF79870AEVM?

    The solution given previously is standalone, that is the RF peer-to-peer stack is totally running on the MSP430F2259 MCU. For P2P developement and testing this is the recommended solution to use. It is also the latest.

    The P2P on the TRF7970AEVM is not longer being updated and the issues with it are not planned to be resolved at this time.

    I understand that it will not be updated even if there is trouble in the future.

    In the future I will evaluate in the  MSP430F5529 EVM or LaunchPad.

    Dear Alexander Kozitsky, 

    i am using the same 2 EVM modules for my thesis project i want to demonstrate p2p functionality one as target and other as initiator but when i try to to push connect button i get mentioned below errors.

    i am using windows 7 64x and all proper USB drivers are installed i am stuck here please help of suggest something in to order to get rid of this problem.
