Hi,
are there any available sample code to authenticate and read/write data with AES and Mifare DesfireEV1 tags?

Hi,
are there any available sample code to authenticate and read/write data with AES and Mifare DesfireEV1 tags?
The library is intentional - the DESFire EV1 native commands are proprietary to NXP - so we obtained the relevant documents from them and implemented the code base. The options we are providing here are done in such a way that you would not need to modify that portion of the code, but rather use the abstracted library to realize the solution. To put it simply - you should be able to use the API calls and be successful - it you see something that needs to be added, let us know and we can see about adding what is needed, but again, this codebase should serve you well.
make sense?
Hi Josh,
thanks for your support. At this stage I have to embed mifare handling code into an IAR based project, while the sample is intended for CCS.
Do you plan to provide a compatible object library?
If this is the case, it could fit: I just need to authenticate the card and read a fixed amount of data on it, so an API based approach is ok.

Enrico
Hey Enrico,
Here is an IAR library. 6102.AES_Encryption lib.r43
I just imported and re-built the library project in IAR, but I don't have any way to test it currently. Give this a shot and let me know how it works.
Thanks,
JD
Hi Josh,
thanks for your feedback. I'll let you know how this work.
Actually our customer is again thinking of simpler 'secure' card: we nned to evaluate also MF Ultralight C:
to accomplish this task 3des authentication is required: are there any chance to have a code sample releated?
I've seen availability of des/3des implementation for msp430.

E
Enrico -
as you have seen there is MSP430 example for you to use + have a look at the attached to guide you through what it looks like to auth MFULC card using DES
