Difference between RI-ANT-G02E and RI-ANT-G02E-30

Hi Team,

When I am looking for RI-ANT-G02E in TI website, the orderable part number is RI-ANT-G02E-30, May I know what is the difference between them, and what is the "-30" meaning?

Best regards

Jiang WeiJi

  • Hello WeiJi,

There will be no difference in functionality for the RI-ANT-G02E and what the RI-ANT-G02E-30 does because the -30 is just an orderable part designation.

The orderable part number for most devices will have an extra designation. This is done to allow for differentiation for parts which have the same functionality but may come in different packaging, function in different environments (temperature ranges for example), or come in different packaging quantities. These distinctions do not change the core functionality of the part and it will follow the datasheet.

Even parts which are made without plans to have any of those differentiation's are tagged with a designation just in case they will be needed in the future, and I believe that is the case with the RI-ANT-G02E.

My best guess as to the meaning of the -30 which was placed on it is that it may refer to the lowest temperature tolerance? I can't really say for sure but if it is very crucial for you to know I can try and search internally to find out why that specific tag was given to it.
